and I'm at it again?

Years of posts have been missed. I attempted to play catch up but I simply am unable to. That's life.

Family game night of "catch phrase"

We have settled into somewhat of a rhythm in Spanish Lookout after returning from Furlough. This was our first furlough in the winter months.  We were COLD.  We did get to enjoy Christmas as a family with extended family.

we got a homeschool discount and went skiing. It was Abi's first time. My legs didn't want to work right to do it well

Our kids visited with friends.

Lauren and Ra had us over for dinner and tacos

We did some one on one and church visiting.

we visited with Beth and her girls and had a fun game night as well

We are thankful for the generous donors who made it possible to buy a new (and nicer than our old one) van for the people at Jesus Deaf Church in Orange Walk.

The van parked at Hopewell Christian Fellowship

The 5 of us rode through the US and Mexico.  We did make two stops one near Mammoth Cave (although tours were closed because of flooding, and one at the Dr Pepper Museum. (Selah's been dreaming of this for years!)

The Dr Pepper Museum, Selah's highlight of our trip

We had one incident that Nathanael talked his way out of in Mexico. This was where someone ran into the back of our van and tried to claim it was our fault. Thankfully we drove away from that situation without having to pay anything.

Walking up to get our passports stamped. This is the line of cars entering Mexico with a "Permiso" It took 10 hours at the border to get through. Lots of waiting

Our time at the Belizean border is the shortest it ever had been, leaving just 6 hours after we arrived.

We got to watch the Eagles win with Summer and her family

I can't begin to explain the relief and peace we felt as we crossed the threshold into our home in Spanish Lookout!

The kids and Nathanael's first trip to the Statue of Liberty. I would NEVER go in the cold again. That was quite tortuous

What a furlough it has been!
